Casey Feickert is a dedicated and experienced physical therapist specializing in sports rehabilitation, biomechanics, and strength and conditioning. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Kinesiology with an emphasis in Exercise Science from California State University, Long Beach (CSULB), and later earned his Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree from the same institution. Additionally, Casey is a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS), further enhancing his expertise in the field.
Casey’s professional focus spans across sports rehabilitation, with a particular emphasis on aiding athletes in their return to sport. His comprehensive understanding of biomechanics coupled with his expertise in strength and conditioning, allows him to assess for movement pathologies, muscle imbalances, or injuries, and to design treatment plans, including tailored exercise programs, that aid in injury recovery and performance optimization.
Prior to his career in physical therapy, Casey had a notable stint as a professional baseball player for the Kansas City Royals. Unfortunately, a shoulder injury prematurely ended his career. This pivotal experience sparked his interest in physical therapy and biomechanics, motivating him to pursue a path aimed at educating individuals to comprehend their injuries, what to expect during the rehab process, fostering their recovery, and ultimately restoring their physical and competitive capabilities and edge.
Beyond his professional pursuits, Casey finds joy in spending time with his family and engaging in sports activities like basketball, pickleball, and mountain biking. He also dedicates time to reading, further expanding his knowledge base and staying up to date with the latest advancements in his field.
